Water and electricity leave no margin for error, which is why pool and spa wiring has some of the strictest requirements in the BC Electrical Code. Able Electrical wires hot tubs, pools, and outdoor spas to those requirements exactly — permitted, inspected, and safe for the people in the water.
Every installation is protected by GFCI equipment rated for the load, with disconnects positioned at the code-required distances. We run properly sized circuits from your panel — most hot tubs demand a dedicated 240V feed — in conduit and cable rated for burial and BC weather.
Pool pump and heater wiring is sized for real motor loads, so equipment starts cleanly and runs without nuisance tripping through the swim season. For new outdoor spa connections, we coordinate with your installer so power is ready the day the tub is delivered and filled.
Bonding and grounding is the invisible work that makes it all safe: connecting the water, the shell, the equipment, and the surrounding metal into one equipotential system. It's the part you never see — and the part we never skip.
